COMMITTEE 2019/2020

Jake Lowry

Executive Chair

Having initially been involved with TWS as a First Year Rep, I was impressed by the reach and quality of the society’s work. As Chair, I hope to continue the tradition of producing impactful policy papers, and to ensure continued engagement with the Cambridge community and beyond. I am a second-year History and Politics student at Sidney Sussex and, aside from my studies, I have a keen interest in music.

Vincent Wang

Vice Chair

Having grown up in both the US and China, my bicultural background piqued my interest in International Relations as well as Comparative Politics. I am also fascinated by the intersection of law and public policy, which I hope to further explore after my undergraduate studies.

Director of Policy

Before coming to Cambridge, I studied International Affairs at Princeton University and then spent two years working in investment banking at J.P Morgan in New York. As part of TWS, I served as a first year rep on the policy team, worked on the recent International Aid in Venezuela Paper and currently serve as the Director of Policy.
